Testimonials and Reviews
"I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed A Day in the Death of Joe Egg recently. Such a challenging play and subject matter, which was handled beautifully by all concerned.
I was especially moved by two performances. Robin Watson's as Bri brought explosive energy and complete focus, the darkest humour that made us laugh and cringe at the same time.
Joe is probably one of the most difficult roles in any modern play for a young actress, and Moira Hickson was simply perfect. She maintained complete integrity throughout, being utterly believable and heartbreakingly moving.
Enormous congratulations to the whole team for their sensitive handling of such a difficult subject matter and theatrical challenge."
Cassie Tillet, Production Manager, Sewell Barn Theatre
